7 Minute Superhero Workout App Reviews

Not family friendly

Got this to do alongside my young son. Lots of profanity in the missions. Not safe for little ears. Great idea, though!

Perfect!!! But....

I LOVE IT!! Really helpful!! I like the new 8 minute workout thing! The only ptoblem is that i wish that you could sign in to something so that if you switch phones or depete the app by mistake you dont have to start from the beginning because thats happened to me about 4 times!!!

Miscounts Reps

Sometimes counts 2 reps for every one that I do, or doesnt county any reps.

Cool but it crashes a lot?

I mean, it works fine on my phone but when I try to use it on my iPad it closes before the mission loads.

Seriously just great

Okay, so for an unfit 16 year old like me whos only into video games, drawing, an being an unproductive potato, this app is fantastic. As said 16 year old girl whos been out of PE since sophomore year and doesnt get exercise elsewhere, cant drive to a gym, and doesnt have the motivation do will myself into exercising, this app is fantastic. I love love love playing video games, with a preference for first person shooters, and this is like the ultimate first person shooter with the added bonus of eventually giving me the body that makes me look like I dont sit at my computer for hours at a time. Its so great and honestly fun, and so easy because all you need is a chair and a wall. The Six to Start apps are extremely innovative, and it is so cool how they utilize functions of your phone.

Would be great if it was customizable...

I desperately want to like this app. I like games, I like superheroes, and while I dont much like exercising I like things that make exercising more enjoyable. I was really hoping the Superhero Workout would do that. Unfortunately, the app lacks a critical feature: the ability to exclude certain exercises from a workout. People with mobility-limiting injuries (or who just live on an upper floor) may not be able to do certain exercises, but the only way to skip those exercises is to sit idle waiting for the timer to count down (or wave your hand a bunch to try to convince the motion sensor youre doing reps). At a bare minimum, the app should provide a "Skip" functionality for each exercise in a workout so you can skip the ones you cant do; and should show a complete list of all exercises in a workout prior to starting the workout, so you can see before starting a workout how many exercises in it youre able to do. Ideally, the app should have a selectable list of exercises so users can tailor their workouts to their own bodies and environment. +1 star because I love the concept; -3 stars because I cant use it due to a critical design flaw. :(

Love the workout

The workouts are fun, the storyline is interesting, and the tech is great. It makes for a nice distraction from the work out. Once you beat all 20 story missions, a minor bug occurs in that the next mission is displayed as NULL but it still allows you to select it, where you are brought to a blank page.

Not for kids

Way to much cursing and use of Gods name in vain. Gross.

Tough for someone out of shape

This is a really cool app if you want to make your workouts more interesting. However, unlike other Six to Start apps, this one is not adaptable to all fitness levels. Im a little ashamed to say that Im going to have to work up to having enough strength to do the exercises in this game. If I could keep up with it, Id give it four stars. The only problem I had with it was placing the phone where the camera could track me. It needs to be high for standing exercises, but low for floor exercises.

Sync to Health app please

Seems fine - but want it to sync with Apple health app.
